Does anyone know of a good place to look up info on people. I'm trying to find my birth father and i only have some of his name, i believe its his full legal name.

Ive searched for some sites that want you to pay but i dont want to pay for some rinky dinky site that isnt going to help me much.

If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, id appreciate it, thanks. :)

you might go to www.genforum.com and see if the last name is a group forum there. If it is, you can put out a query to see if anyone knows him that is doing genealogy research.

Have you tried doing a search in the white pages for a phone number? Of course, you basically need to know the area that he is in for that.

there are groups on yahoo.. usually towards adoption that always have ppl willing to help you search. Try doing a search until the state that you were born for adoption message boards. Even if you are not adopted, it will help you find out what information is available in your area and state.
If you want some help on finding info. just email me and I will be glad to help you search
