Is Anyone else having this problem with Messenger?

I have both AOL and MSN messengers. Both are very slow at transmitting the messages I send. I cannot figure out why. Anyone have any idea? I am on cable internet so it is fast and there are no problems.

i have MSN messenger up all the time. I also have cable internet and the only problem I had was last week it was cutting out on me a cpl times. But I think it was my cable messing w/me. It may be your ISP. How I knew it was my ISP and not messenger was the fact that I was having probs w/my Internet Explorer and couln't send/rec email.
