I have Wood floors in my Apartment like all the rest of the 4 rentals here and theres a man that lives above me and once in a while he brings in this woman. Anyway, Everytime she comes I hear Thumping, bangs and Moaning so loud in my place. Its not just one time its like 4 or 5 times though the nite. The man has to be on Viagra. Anyway, I try to tune this out with my TV, Fan, Whatever i can but the bumping going on is just to loud i feel like im in their room with them. I sure can't go knock on the door upstairs above me and say Hey Stop it Ok. So whats a woman to do. I can't tell him I hear him I wouldn't feel right.

rofl... the guy who lives behind us (who is married, but we've never seen a woman enter or exit his apt in the 4 years we've lived here and we think is gay cause he will talk to my hubby like there is no tomorrow, but he will not speak to any woman that he sees ... maybe he's just intimidated by women...but that's beside the point) likes to have sex on our mutual wall. Well he used to. At first (back when we first moved in) I'd try to ignore it... but it was ALL the time, so I'd start beating on the wall. He'd just knock back and pretend he didn't understand. That just pissed me off more, but what could I do? I was too embarressed to go to the office and ask them to say something. Then one day I was sittin here and heard him and thought I could embarrass HIM if he could hear ME moaning then maybe he'd realize I could hear HIM. So that's what I did, I went to the wall in the spot it was loudest and would moan right along w/ him until he finally stopped... or found a quieter spot!

you really want to get him, lmao, Start Calling the police, lol if you have to do it from a pay phone and don't give your name, that way he won't know who does it, lol, he'll eventually get tired of it.

we've had lots of loud noise complaints that turn out to be just what your saying, lol. or the bumping on the walls and stuff callers will think is a domestic disturbance, lol maybe he'll get sick of seeing the police and start going to her place, lol

If he put a thick area rug down that might help a little but I don't know what to suggest about the load moaning. lol

:D and to boot it her husband and mine were in the same military unit lol :D so even more embarassing (sp).
they came home from the field one day and that night all you heard was moaning and groaning lol
so the next day i asked here what was wrong because it sounded like there was a sick cow in her bedroom after that you didn't hear them anymore lol :D :D

ill stop now i promise...lol...

no really tho.. i live in an apartment with 2 noisy boys. we always seem to have single no kids people in the apartment below us (no onw above us it is 2 story) i try to make my kids be quiet no running, screaming, fighitng, i dont do the wash (dishes or clothes) after 8 unless it is an emergency.. etc... but my new downstairs neighbors ARE SO LOUD UHG! they have got surround sound.. 1030 at night

BOOMB BOOMB MUSIC BOOMB
and the other new niehgbor has a car that doesnt start every morning unless he tries 10 times.... needless to say this happens under my window at 630 to 7 am every morning..

I SO BADLY wantto leave notes on both of their cars telling them to move the d@mn car somewhere else and tell the other neighbor to trun the surround sound off! My plates in my cabinets actaully rattle at 1030 at night! grtrrrr
but i am too afraid to start trouble...

geeeze doesnt anyone have sex in these apartments anymore??? lol...

OMG...this is the funniest thread. I'm SOOOOO glad that I haven't lived in an apartment for over 25 years! And even then...there was no 'interesting' noise going on.

This is all too funny.

IFeelLucky: I would tell him. He just might be as embarrassed as you are, he'll tone it down. Although the moaning back is just so funny, I might try that too.

mustanggir: sick cow? So hilarious. But if I was that woman, I might be offended. I want my hubby to know I'm enjoying it, not make him think I have mad cow disease, LOL.

Justme23: I almost wet my pants, that was soo funny. I wonder about the look on his face was when he figured it out. Better yet, I wonder about his partner's reaction!

Oh the joys of living in an apartment... we think our new upstairs neighbors never sleep. We hear them walking around until late at night, and then early in the morning. The noise isn't their fault, it's a fairly old building and the floors creak. Thankfully, we've only heard footsteps, no other noises!

And they are better than the last people who lived above us, they liked to rearrange their furniture late at night!

Yeah, we had neighbors that could only fight at 2 in the morning. The floorplans of this building was odd, so their kitchen and living room were right next to our bedroom.

What's really funny (well not really) is that neighbor noises don't stop because you move out of an apartment. We live in a housing division and have called the cops on one neighbor more than once cause he wants to practice his techno music djing at midnight.

I did have to laugh though, I lived on the third floor of an apartment building and my neighbors (same floor and below) were loud. Usually it was just "regular" noises, thank goodness, lol.
