Are things finally looking up?

I decided yesterday that I was going to go to our local newspaper office today and run an ad this week because I'm going to reopen my in-home daycare. That way we'll have some extra money to put back to get a lawyer with to fight for custody of my step-son. Well, I hear a knock on the door this morning & it's a girl I don't even know & she says, "I heard you used to have a daycare and was wondering if you'd be interested in keeping my kids?" I was like OMG! Now I don't even have to make a trip to town and spend the money on an ad! She's got 3 little ones, which will be perfect because I didn't want to take on any more than that! AND it's hours I was hoping for! 6:30 - 3:30 which means my older kids will be in school the majority of the time and they'll be gone before hubby gets home, so they won't be getting on his nerves. I'm supposed to start next monday and I just so hope that things are finally looking up for us!

I have been thinking of running an add like that too and the day after I told dh about wanting to do it one of the ladies he works with asked him if I would like to watch her son. She is having an operation and when she goes back to work, few more weeks I will start watching him. So hopefully with watching her one I will be able to pick up maybe one or two more to give us a little extra money to start saving for our disney trip.

I am so happy things are starting to look up for you guys, hopefully now that it is a new year everyone will start getting some of it lol
