What does it mean when someone is a troll? I have seen it here before and then from the mods which I dont understand all this stuff anyway but just wondering.

Whne people from other boards, come here just to post and stir up trouble/call other members names/post nasty stuff..that is where most of the bannings come from people from other boards that have been banned here that keep reregistering to just make trouble.

A troll can also be someone who maybe has never been here before but goes from board to board causing trouble. They really have nothing productive to add but just like to stir things up and post porno pictures and other disgusting things and just to be plain mean and cause trouble and such.

A troll can also be someone from this board (who is a member of another board)that tries to cause problems here just to get themselves banned in a "blaze a glory" for their so called friends at the other boards.

Thank you for asking that question. I was afraid to ask. I didn't want to sound too dumb. But I have another question, actually there are alot of questions. Why would anyone want to get banned from here. This seems like a really nice place. Everyone seems to care alot about everyone else. I know I have asked for help on quoting and some other things, and the people here jumped right in to help. One last question if I can. What are all the initials I see. Thank you.

It happens for a plethora of reasons. Some cannot follow the rules or do not like how things are run here and instead of just moving on or ignoring things they feel the need to bash others or the moderators. Some take up for friends they have made on here that were banned by bashing others or breaking the rules. Some post spam or are trying just to promote their new website (which is a no-no here). There are 1000+ other reasons that I have seen people banned from here for. Mostly it is just for breaking the rules. HTH :)
