I feel so sucky...

I have been sick since the day after Christmas. It started with a really sore throat, post nasal drip and cough.

That lasted for a few days...never got worse.

Then last Friday, my nose really started running and my head is all stuffed up. Sunday night I thought I would absolutely die! I was on vacation, but had to take last Friday and yesterday off as sick days.

I should have stayed home today but I knew my desk was overflowing so came into work.

I have all these projects. I'm drowning at my desk. And all I want to do is go home and go to bed.

WAAAHHHHH! I think I would rather have the stomach flu than have a head cold.

I know...I'm a baby...I just wanted to whine a little.

Did you take some cold medicine? Drinking a big glass of something every hour? Drinking hot tea or hot cider? Put the blowdryer by your nose to help open up those passages, but don't burn your nose.

I have taken DayQuil and used a nasal spray. The nasal spray works...for a while...but I can't use it too much. I have been using Nyquil Gel Caps at night, but they have been keeping me awake. It's weird.

Usually...anything puts me to sleep, but these have made me so agitated.

Tonight I am taking a sleeping pill just so I can get some sleep.
