Kindergarten Pajama Day

Today my 5 year old had PJ day at school. All the kids came dressed in their jammies and they snuggled up and read their favorite books all day. Here's a photo I snagged off the class website. My Kaylee is in the front row, last one on the right in pink PJs and fuzzy pink slippers. :)

how cute! my son had a book party once , it was after school though and mom's and dad's got to come too, we all wore our jammies and slipper, i had ren and stimpy ones the kids just loved.

That is absolutely adorable!
When DD was in 2nd grade they had an "Aurthor's Tea." All the kids wrote a book and the parents were invited to a tea where they read their books and served us tea and cookies.

What was really funny about pajama day, is that I actually thought Wednesday of last week was PJ day and sent her to school in her Jammies. Oops! She was so embarressed and the school called me to come bring her a uniform! I tried to make hubby take the clothes to the school because I felt like a total jackass! Of course he wouldnt! Made me go and get all red in the face. Those ladies in the office mustve thought I was insane sending her to school in her pajamas! I had to explain that there really was a PJ day! :o

Kaylee is really a sweet looking little girl. Very nice that her teacher participated as well(love her PJs). My sons have had PJ days before and their teachers NEVER participated.
