I'm going to make some Buckeyes Candy that calls for paraffin wax. Ok, the only kind of paraffin wax I can find is Gulf Wax Household Paraffin Wax. It says its for canning, candlemaking and many other uses. Is this what I need for the candy? I've been to 2 different stores and this is all I could find. It was with the chocolate chips, cocoa and so on but I just want to make sure its safe to use. I don't want to make some candy thats gonna cause us to be in the ER by the end of the day. LOL I've made this before but its been a few years and I've never used this brand of wax before. Please help!

That's the brand called for use in my Peanut Butter Balls. It's mixed into the chocolate coating used for hardening the chocolate into a "shell".

I was going to be doing it today too but my daughter has the flu as of Sunday so I figured it better wait until she can help.
For us, Buckeyes are little cookies with a Hershey Kiss planted in the middle.
Have fun and save some room for dinner...
