God did not create evil. God created the angels and humans with free will and the angels rebelled against God and evil came into existence. God did not stop evil since then He would have had to take back free will.

The angels wanted to be God and that is not possible. Satan and the fallan angels who followed him are evil and the world became Satan's domain when Adam and Eve went against God and sinned. Now we have a war between good and evil. Jesus came into the world to save men from eternal damnation but evil still is in the world and men have to decide everyday to resist it. It is easier to resist it with God's help and those who look to God for assistance are more likely to resist it and not sin.
