Help Please

I have been inundated with junk mail (many are porn) due to searches done in ptr programs. I know they are from these as a lot of times my searches are for medications, insurance and mortgage information, and these are what most of the junk emails are about.

1st of all they are in my personal email account which means they have my ip address and not the address I have with the ptr site. I have a fire wall and all the other protective utilities you can think of.

I know better than to respond to them and I block future emails but as you might know they constantly change their email address to prevent any effective blocking.

Any one with any suggestions?

Try www.opera.com My BIL told me about it last night. Also GAtor is spyware but I need sonething that has my info to lot into places quickly so will have it for awhile until I can figure out something else.

Gator and roboform are for filling out forms and that is not what I need. I need to stop spam and nothing is working.

Gator is spyware and when I tried it, I had all kinds of problems.

I have been using roboform for a number of years and have not had any problems with it.

I have no suggestions since I am having the same trouble receiving porn emails. I have 3 personal email accounts and all 3 started getting the same porn emails at the same time. They had finally stopped, only to start up again on Thanksgiving Day! Very puzzling as to how all 3 email accounts are getting this crap.

If you find out how to stop them, please post. I just delete them out but I really hate that they are coming into my personal accounts.

I had to do this in my hotmail. Instead of blocking the individual block the domain. So istead of blocking soandso@domain name just block @domain name. That will stop all email from them until they use another domain.

I've been receiving all kinds of emails about the penis patch and Paris Hilton porn and stuff like that. It started a couple of weeks ago and I get at least 10 a day. Most of them are coming from Yahoo addresses. I don't really have any advice because I have the same problem. They are being sent to my attbi account which changed in August to comcast so hopefully at the end of December when they stop forwarding the emails I won't get anymore.

I had Gator once a few years ago but got rid of it and now I use Roboform instead.

I have blocked the domains and they just change them to something else and it gets through again. I think I should write about this in some of the ptr and ptc forums and see if they can find out what source is and get it stopped

I have hotmail and every time I get porn I put a block on it. It's put in the junk mail. I check it to make sure none of my reward programs have been put in junk and then I click delete all. It's easy that way.

i had that problem too until i switched to earthlink, they have a really great spam blocker.

there are some free spam blockers on line but i have never tried any, just type free spam blocker in to google and you should com eup with some.
