my great grandma always made this and i have made it before based on what she told me, but i am looking for an actual recipe for this. it is not the fruit flavored (apple or grape) version, this is made first by baking a loaf of bread and than you top it with a mixture of brown sugar sour cream and i believe a bit of salt. that is all i remember, i usually can make it myself by taste, but it sure would be handy to have an actual recipe. if i ask my great grandma (who turned 90 last june!) she just says the ingredients, she never had a recipe either she just knows how to do it. i have made it and it tastes fine, but i want something writen down for my kids so it will stay in the family, any help is apreciated, i tried typing it in to google but i just get a bunch of german sites and i only know a handfuul of german words.
