can i sell champagne here i have a bottle
and i do not drink so let me if it is ok

You'll have to check with a mod, but I know there are laws regarding interstate sales of alcohol. I know I can't buy wine from the winery in IN and have it shipped to IL, and I don't think alcohol can be sent through the US mail because of the interstate regulations.

It's illegal to ship, possibly sell, without a liquor license. Any fine you might incur is going to be a lot more than what you'd get for that bottle of champagne. Why not wrap it up as a holiday gift for someone instead of taking the chance? Fishy's right about the chances of selling to someone underage.

You're still shipping it, even if you give it away and not sell it. I really don't think you can do that. Isn't there anyone near you that you could give it to?

no the only one i know is my brother he has a drug problem
i dont think i want to give him an alcohol problem

It might be a nice holiday gesture. I just don't want to see you get into any trouble by trying to sell it. PM a mod to make sure though.

alcohol cant pass state lines let alone be sent in the mail or any other carrier with out being a supplier. Same as tobacco.....birdy i saw you licking your chops when you saw the word champagne...lol
Theresa have your landlord take it off your rent tell him it is an ancient bottle and worth bookkkkkooooooooo bucks..lol

USP will only ship if you're an UPS account holder approved to ship alcohol. and then only between states that have interstate agreements.

Some states have agreements with other states, some states will only let you ship within the state, and some won't allow it at all.
