anytime you get a "missing "xxx" file, go to google, and do a search on that file name, read a couple, and your problem is NORMALLY solved.....

SYMPTOMS
When you try to play a file by using the Real Networks RealPlayer program, or when you start your computer, you may receive the following error message:
A required .DLL file, PNCRT.DLL, was not found
You may then receive the following error message:
Access to the specified device, path, or file is denied.
If you are using Microsoft Windows Media Player 6.1, you may receive the following error message:

CAUSE
This issue can occur if the Pncrt.dll file is missing from the Windows\System folder.

To resolve this issue, uninstall and then reinstall RealPlayer. To do so, follow these steps:
Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click Add/Remove Programs.
On the Windows Setup tab, click Internet Tools, and then click Details.
Click to clear the Real Audio Player 4.0 check box, click OK, and then click Apply.

So the problem is because of my real player?? Would that interfere w/the internet? Because when the internet wasn't working properly, is when I started getting that message.

One more question. I called AOl and was told my internet was not staying connected because I am at 100% load. How do I reduce that so I can allow more space for AOL to run? They todl me uninstalling programs I downloaded would not help and there are certain programs on my computer I would need to turn off in order to reduce that number. How do I know which programs they are, and how do I disable them?
