Ummmm....maybe things were different then or maybe I was just dim....but I believed until I was ten.

We always saw Santa in Asheville, NC where my grandparents lived (the Santa from Santa Land near Cherokee was always at the Innsbrook Mall)...I forgot to tell Santa that I wanted a View Master, so I convinced my brothers and my best friend to walk to the mall with me. We had to walk through a tunnel to get there, when we finally got back to my grandparents, my brothers and I got our butts whipped for going through the tunnel. On Christmas morning, my little brother got the View Master.....just didn't really believe after that.
