I printed a coupon from Betty Crocker's website for $1.10 off on three Hamburger Helper. Food Lion had it on sale buy 1 get one free and they would not except my coupon even though it came directly from Betty Crocker. They said they had no way of telling that it did. But on the coupon it says it and has a code to verify it. Anyone else have this problem? If so what did you do about it or what should I do about it? The reason was because of the fradulant coupons that came around.

Sorry you had a problem with that store. So far all the stores around me still accept internet coupons thankgoodness.

Our stores haven't been taking internet coupons since mid summer. You can try contacting the compnies that issue the coupons. Sometimes they'll send you coupons in the mail.

I would go to the BC website and write to them letting them know that your local store would not accept the coupon. They might be able to offer you something else for your trouble.

Email them, but don't expect a suitable action. This happened to me about 6 weeks ago ... I received a polite letter from Food Lion explaining why they refused internet coupons, but nothing else was offered ... Never hurts to try.

I live in Greensboro as well and the only stores I have been able to use internet coupons at are Bi-Lo and the Super Kmart out on Wendover, none of the other stores will take them anymore, and Food Lion is notoriously rude about accepting coupons (especially the ones on E Market and on Colliseum Blvd)
