Of course not - why should we? It's not like we've lived or anything!

Been there, done that! My daughter was so tremendously distainful of us when she was a teenager. She was like, "Why did God punish me by giving me these two people as parents."

Everyone told me that she would get better when she turned 18! She did! We've been close ever since. But...boy was I so ready to get rid of her until then!

Hugs to you!!!

Sorry, but you obviously did not read the rules... 5 of your 6 responses were rude (if not borderline, then outright). Buh BYE

If a teenager listens to their mother and does what they are suppose to do, I would be looking for aliens in the house. Since yours are acting normally you can assume that there are no pod people there.

And keep in mind that science has proven that teenagers brains are not completely formed which is the reason they act the way they do.

Oh FBH--- I'm with you. I have a 17 y/o son that I was ready to ship off last week. It's like he can only stand to be civil (never "loving"-- toward me anyway) for more than a couple of days & then he has to be just so..sarcastic, mean, mouthy, etc >>>>>>>>> I keep telling myself it could be worse, he could be in real trouble with police, drugs, lots of things. Thankfully I don't have to worry abt those, & hopefully never will.
How did our parents make it?? although I'm sure I was never that bad.*wink Wink*
Hang in there--
