ok here are a few to start with...


Nanticoke- pronounced by the natives nannycoke lol
jersey shore - okay no where near an ocean!
Brooklyn- nooo not that one....

lake wallenpaupack- prounounced just like it is spelled...
intercourse- yes.. it is next to Bird-In-Hand (DONT ASK)
Tamaqua- Tom ma kwa easy!

Dallas - the ORIGINAL town named dallas! 'nuf said lol...
East Texas... ok it is in PA!

Anyone living in PA ever hear of Bacaria? It is so small if you blink as you go by you'll miss it .. Just wondering, we had and may still have family living there.

im from the wilkes barre area... so i know of the Jersey Shore town... havent been there...

there was a joannes fabric in edwardsville in the narrows shopping center(5 minutes from Wilkes barre) but i dont know if it is there now... ill ask my mom lol...
as for the acmoore i dont think so... but there is one in clifton nj...lol...

oh im sorry it is the West Side Mall not the Narrows shopping center... i am showing my age.... and all the orginal names of some places now... lol....

thanks! I am new around here and I think on the website they said there was a Joannes in WB and I think WB is kinda close to me lol (if that makes any sense ahahaha)
