Maybe it forgot to place the decimal point? As a cheaper route.. is there any way you can rent one that is in town rather than at the airport? The rates are ALOT cheaper if you go that route and bypass the airport..they royally jack up the prices. It might cost a taxi ride, but still cheaper in the long run.. just a thought :)

Oh, tell me about it! I'm renting a car this week, and all the taxes and crap they come up with is RIDICULOUS!! I'm going to my parents about 700 miles away, and we don't want to put those miles on our car. Plus at this point, the car is getting sick, and it might not appreciate the wear. Trying to find unlimited mileage is getting hard lately.

I finally went to Priceline and got the same car for $98 plus tax. Much cheaper and in the airport too.
