I don't want anyone to worry, since most of you know I am in So Cali with the fires. It's too hard for dot to breathe here so we are going to Nevada. Only problem, I hear they have our smoke now too! It couldn't be worse than this. I'm sure we will be gone at least a few days, I will check in as soon as we return. I don't want anyone to worry, we are fine and totally out of harms way. Be careful and safe. - Val

Aww, have fun. :) It's not that bad here in Santee, but I heard it was going to get worse by morning. We had blue skies today, but it was still smokey. Yesterday it was so bad it looked like evening at 2 in the afternoon. Have a nice trip, glad you're okay and safe from harm.

We had blue skies here today too! Blue Grey Blue Grey Blue Grey...No kidding, these fires have been terrible but I think it is drawing to a close.
Plan on doing some hiking at Red Rock canyon and throwing a few nickels into a machine and breathing!!! I think everything is going to clear up here within the next couple of days. I have to say that California stood up to the challenge, I'm very proud of my neighbors. It will take awhile to rebuild, but I truly think we have seen the worst of it. Lets just all step back and catch our breath now...

Now shame on you NOFOOLPRICE...telling a BBSer not to worry about family is like telling the kids to behave...lol....We'll all worry until the fires are all out and every one on the BBS family is safe!

I was told last night that the fires are headed towards Julian. Has anyone heard if they have or haven't yet? It would be terrible if all those apple trees burned. :( We used to go up near the harvest every year when I lived in Cali.
