My dad finally turned on the heat (temporarily) and I need to know what direction the ceiling fan needs to be.
Hubby and I cleaned it a while back and I can't remember what direction it should go during the fall/winter.
I had it going in one direction and he turned it another.
My room is on the top floor so I'm hoping all the heat will rise and I can use the ceiling fan to circulate the heat.

they are supposed to go so the wind will be pushed down from the ceiling if that makes any sense...mine has a switch to reverse the direction of the blades

FROM MY CEILING FAN MANUAL ;

COOL WEATHER - (REVERSE) AN UPWARD AIRFLOW
MOVES WARM AIR OF THE CEILING AREA. THIS ALLOWS YOU TO SET YOUR HEATING UNIT ON A LOWER SETTING WITHOUT AFFECTING YOUR COMFORT.
REVERSE IS SWITCH UP.

DOES THAT HELP ??
