My best friend made arrangements to spend the whole day with me today. My family had other plans but kept those while I sat here and waited for him to show up. 30 Minutes after my family left for the day,my friend calls sick. He really is- its a bad cold---but he put off coming over a couple hours, then finally ended up cancelling entirely. I guess I understand, but It still bugs me because he has cancelled so many times in the past for other reasons. I went to the trouble of staying home to spend time with him and he cancels. Im pretty frustrated now, and just all the little things really seem to be adding up right now.
EDITED TO ADD: He showed up here about an hour after I posted this, totally unexpected. Called and said he was on his way....Why do I get frustrated over the dumb little things when he does the really nice things like this???
