I am running Windows Xp and lost my address bar. I went in under tools and looked it is checked to show it but I can not see my address bar!!!

I'm not sure if XP is the same as 95 and 98, but if it is, go up to the top and right click on the square for close and minimize, there is a drop down menu to click for the address bar. Hope this helps!!!

I had this same problem not too long ago but someone had UNchecked my address bar in the tools section. Try going to the bottom of your toolbar til the arrows show and pulling it down. I had to do that as well after I checked my addy bar selection.

another cure is this: do you have several other toolbars? go into the gray area of one of them, & you can also see what is checked/unchecked.

I found it. It was hiding in a button, I had to click and drag it away from the button LOL
