Wal-Mart & coupons

I went to Wal-Mart last night to get dog food for my
new puppy. I was going to use the Pedigree coupons that
some people here at bbs sent me. One of the coupons was
for B1G1 free Pedigree puppy food. It was only $.37 each.
Well the cashier called the CSM over and they refused to
take the coupons. Their reason "They are not a grocery
store and do not take these coupons". Ok, you sell dog
food so you should take the coupons. I mean I wasn't trying
to use double coupons on the same item or anything. It
just ticked me off. They will try anything to rip you off.

Call and talk to a manager, Walmart(even the small walmarts-not a super center) does take coupons. Sounds like those 2 were going by their own rules, if the Manager doesn't settle anything, call corporate.

That's weird, I never heard of Wal-Mart not taking coupons, I have never had a problem. :confused:

Once she has tendered and cashed out your purchase, she can't go back and add the coupons to that order. She can get a CSM to ring them up for her and give you the money back, or you can go to tbe customer service desk and do the same thing, which ever you prefer. As for B1G1 coupons, Walmart does accept those. They, however, do not match B1G1 ads from other stores, unless it states that you pay $xx.xx for one item to get one free. (I'm sorry if that doesn't make sense the way I stated it, but I'm not sure I can do any better right now). Perhaps the cashier (and maybe the CSM??) was confused about the coupon. I would definately call management at the store (make sure you have the name of the cashier/CSM, or at least the OP# printed at the top of the reciept) and if management doesn't settle it, call corporate.

Call corp. w/in a day or 2 it will be taken care of. I haven't had a problem since I called and asked about their coupon policy. If they refuse to take it now...I go to cs and they cash it in for me.
