Stupid Post Office and Marlboro Order!!!

OK~ first of all the Marlboro orders had to be in thier office by Sept 30. No biggie cause I was gonna over night my order on Monday so it will be there Tuesday. So, I did just that. I sent my 2 orders early Monday morning and it should have made it to Marlboro headquarters by 3:00 Tuesday. Well, what do ya know, they did not make it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went to the post office today and got a full refund of $17.85 per package but guess what I am now sh&t out of luck on my order! Between the 2 orders I sent a total of about 27,000 marlboro miles! Yes I said 27,000 miles! And most of them are the old ones!! Man I am sick sick sick! I did infact call Marlboro today and told them the situation and the lady I spoke with said they will make every attempt possible to go ahead and fulfill my orders. Please keep those fingers, toes, eyes, legs arms and anything else crossed for me. lol Thanks for letting me vent!

Also, I would like to state this is the 3rd time I have used express mail and everytime I have they never made it on time. Sounds like this post office needs to get with the program, huh?

I would suggest you mail sooner next time and be glad you got your money back from the PO. JMO

Actually, I had planned on sending my orders in the week before but I got very sick with a Urinary tract infection, strep throat and on top of that I am 5 months pregnant and the only day that I was able to get to the Post office was that Monday. And yes I am very grateful that I received my money.

Hope they fill your order. I was running later on mine too. I sent it about a week before the deadline so I hope it got there on time.

By any chance is there a website addrees on that Marlboro catalog or phone# so i can call and get myself a catalog? I did a search and all it brought up was cigarette sites :(

I never got one this year and totally forgot......Last yr i barely mde it also but i ended up getting the canvas jacket and i just love it.....wore it yesterday in the rain!

Unfortunately, they do not have a website for the Marlboro Gear but here is the phone number 1-800-MARLBORO (1-800-627-5267). Also, the program ended on Sept 30 and that was the last time you could use the old 5 mile upc. The new ones are now being produced and they have the word FIVE spelled out on them and the old ones have the numeral 5 on them. So, I don't know if it would do you any good to call and request a catalog. But the Rep did tell me that another catlaog was coming out but would not be mailed until the Spring and on the new catalog the only miles they would accept is the new ones with the word "FIVE" spelled out on them. :( Good luck though!

Hi neighbor! What part of KY are you in? I hope your order makes it there too. They said it could take up to 3 weeks just to enter the order in the system. So, I guess we will see. Thanks. and I will keep my eyes, fingers, toes, arms, and legs crossed for you as well. lol

ohhhhhhhhhh BUMMER girl !! I know you were sick and intended on sending those out sooner but the sick bug doesnt check your schedule first :( I hope they fill your order for ya anyways girl. Did they ship your packages anyways and just give you your money back cuz they didnt make it by the designated time? Or did you have to reship them? I didnt know how that worked. Hope ya get your stuff hun !! And be careful on that trip this weekend! Take care of you and that baby!!

As long as it is postmarked by the 30th you are in good shape, I mailed my Monday as well, and the postdate is what they go by..

I hope that is true but the Rep I spoke with told me all the orders had to be at the headquarters by Sept 30 not postmarked by then. But she did state that they would make every effort to fulfill my order. And the catalog itself says "Program starts 03/01/03 and Offer expires and orders must be reeived by 9/30/03". So, I don't know but I sure hope we all get our orders fulfilled!

Actually at the post office when you use express mail and the package is not delivered on time then yes you get a full refund and they go ahead and deliver the packages free of charge.

I sent mine in at the end of May and just got my Coleman Camping cooking pots last week. I ordered alot of other stuff too, and am hoping that it gets here.

Don't go tossing your old miles just yet. I read on another board today that Marlboro is going to take so many of the old miles on the next catalog because so many people have been calling and complaining that the old miles are still on the shelf. So we can keep our fingers crossed!

my post office bites,too!!LOL it takes 5 days for a letter to go 25 miles,but, if i drive 15 minutes to the next town--the same letter arrives the very next day.nobdy can explain why that happens????i can't get express mail delivered to me over-night,either but could if i get a p.o. box in the next town!! i hope they get your order to you!!maybe you need to travel like i do to get better mail service??

are those pans any good? I ordered 2 sets of them so I hope they're not total junk.

Jcw, I love the pans. We don't camp so haven't tried them over open fire. LOL But have cooked on the stove with tham and they work great. The only weird thing is that the handle for 2 of the pans is seperate and when you use it you have to hook it into a slot on the sides of the pans.
