Need help Quick=Microsoftworks

Hi,
My microsoft works will open for letters and stationary, but then will close a few seconds later. I managed to get my envelope done, but I cant get the window to stay open when I go to letters or stationary.
Was trying get the letters ready for the pta .
Has anybody had this happen to them or is it just my computer. I have restarted twice.
