OMG......lets get this divorce over with

Husband told me Friday he wants a divorce. Things have not been good here and as much as I tried to work it out, It didn't. Fine, cut my losses and move on. Make life better for my kids than being around the ranting man who hurts their feelings only to turn around a couple hours later to buy them Happy Meals.

Now I find out that his stepdad is saying I didn't take care of my MIL when they visited for two days. UH???? WTF is up with that??? Yes, I made breakfast for her the day he went to run errands....toast and fruit, just what she wanted. And I made sure she had a drink or whatever. RIP MIL, so you don't see all the crap they're accusing me of. Lying SOBs. Grrrrrr Six months from tomorrow I will be divorced and not have to deal with him except for our daughter's sake.

Be prepared. It is amazing how blood can be thicker than water. My ex was a jerk, his whole family knew it. The moment I told him to get out, I was the bad guy. I was walking away from such a good guy. That I was deserting him when things got tough. It was a very painful wake up call. I hope that you get thru this relatively unscathed. Keep your head held high for your kids, and never ever let the soon to be ex in laws get the best of you. Good luck in your new life!

Hugs to you Annie....I am going through the same thing only I told him I wanted a divorce after I caught him cheating. We go to court next month. Hopefully, it will all be over for both of us soon. If you need to talk, I am just a couple of towns over from you in Beaumont.
