Auction #1

A week after the auction ended she finaly sent me paypal. Unfortunatley she sent credit card funded paypal which I cannot accept with my personal account. I make it very clear on my auctions that I CANNOT accept credit cards thru paypal. I do have a Paypal logo on my autions but it is simply the one that says I'm Paypal verified, it DOES NOT say that I take credit cards.

So I have to reject her paypment from paypal. Then I email her and tell her why I had to and then she sends me this email:

"Stephanie
I will pay via a money order next week. I understood that when you (or anyone) used the 'Logo" PayPal as accepted payment that everything was okay. Guess I mis-understood. Now I will have to pay a fee for a money order and I don't like that. Live and learn. Ohh WELL.
VERY UPSET.
Helen"

So she is upset with me! I emailed her back saying basicly what I said above. I'm still waiting for her reply.

Auction #2

This auction ended on 9-3. I had not received payment from her yet so I emailed her last night reminding her and leting her know (again) which forms of payment I accept. I received back this email:

"I already paid for it paypal:)~"

So I double checked and triple checked my paypal and I had only received 2 payments since her auction ended and neither were from her. So I emailed her back asking for her to forward me a copy of her paypal receipt. Instead she sends me this email:

"I purchased this with BUY IT NOW. my ID on paypal is sybil*****goddess. I paid you for this."

Aaaarrrrr!!! She did not! So I sent her another email. I'm waiting for her reply.

I've been lucky so far with my buying and selling on ebay and have had very little trouble. And now these guys

Thanks for listening. I just needed to vent.

Some people!! I can't beleive she was upset with YOU!! It was her fault she did not read the auction throroughly, and again her fault again she ASSUMED that jut because there was a paypal logo that she could pay via credit card, or ANYTHING paypal accepts.
I really don't know why people bid on ANYTHING without reading the ALL of the terms..and if it were me, not only would I read and reread the terms of an auction i would probably print it out!
Do you have a copy of your auction, so you can e-mail her back a copy of your terms, and maybe put in red italics or something so she can see where you said "no credit cards"?

to the second bidder, i would tell her to go and check her account and see if there was a problem with her account, and that no one with the unsername she described has sent a payment to your account, and that maybe she got auctions confused and paid for another one, and just thought it was yours? I have also heard of people getting a username or e-mail messed up (transposing #'s or letters), and sending them to a differnt accoutn by mistake.

A while back I had someone win one of my auctions and pay through paypal only problem was, I never knew about it until I check one of my emails that I hardly ever used. Evidentally I had signed up for paypal with that addy and totally forgot about it, and when she did a search, that paypal account came up instead of the one that I use.

Anyway, hope these people get their acts together and you get your money soon. :)

I just had a problem with a bidder not reading my auction, too. It gets frusterating when they get upset with you, and the only problem is they did not read it through!!! For the most part, I have no problems, but every now and again, a bad apple sneaks in!
Hope you get your $$$$ soon!
