They say they want to trade, so you get your end ready. They keep saying a month later they are sending their end first. You never hear from them, but they continue to post. Even when you email them and they say "I need your address again", or whatever. I understand things happen but when they are still posting here I know that they can email me. You give them your address again, and they still don't come through. If they don't want to trade they should just say so. Good thing I didn't send my end first.

Anyway, it just irritates me. Thank you for letting me say that.

I'm sorry but I had to laugh when I read the part about getting your end ready. lmao Mind you I just came out of the thread about what your name would be if you were a porn star. I normally reply to a thread once I click on it but I couldn't come up with a name for myself so I left. lol That would irritate me too. Do they not know that people can check up on them and see when they are posting. It's really silly what these people do sometimes. I guess the good part of it is that you didn't send your part of the trade out.

Thank goodness I have never been stiffed here. I mean, we all come here for the free stuff, deals, cheap auctions and good advice. Its like an e-family, so like, why do some people use this place like a toilet? If people would be a bit more honest, it would be nice! Sory this happened to you.

I sent a MO to a person on here on July 1. At the end of July they emailed me and asked if I sent it. I said yes, I had the stub if they needed it. A weel later they emailed me back and said they FINALLY got the MO and that they would be mailing my item out the next day. It is now Sept 5 and I havent seen the item AND they wont return my emails.

Only problem with that unicornmom... sometimes it's more than a few dollars and you need it just as much as the people that take it from you. I haven't done a lot of trades on here and I seriously doubt if I will do any more. I can't afford to give money away for nothing lol hope all you guys get what your suppose to

I never sent my money. But the agreement was her to send her end (b/c of all the scamming) first. I didn't want to leave bad feedback since my end never got sent, even though I have been waiting a VERY long time for her end (which I'll never see). What do you think?

I still think you should leave bad feedback because she didn't follow through with what she said she was going to do. If she had contacted you and told you she had changed her mind or something like that it would of been different but she hasn't. Maybe I'm not understanding this. Was this a trade where both of you were going to send each other a package or were you buying something that she had for sale?

I've never actually traded with anyone here at BBS but I have purchased from three different people and how it worked was I sent them a money order and when they received it they shipped me the items that I was purchasing from them. I know with trades that most of the people send their packages out at the same time. So even if this person changed her mind or didn't feel right sending out the package without receiving payment first she still should of told you. That is not someone who I would want to deal with in the future.

Well if you have not sent anything, and she did not send her end first as promised then I don't see why you would leave negative feedback. You did not lose anything.

I take trading like this:

Don't think you have automatically gotten the trade until both parties have come to an agreement. And yes, sometimes people don't respond back or change their mind. But IMO, you have to learn how to move on to the next one. It happens and it has happened to me several times. If the person does not want to trade with me the item I asked about then it must not be meant to be. JMO

boy do i feel like a jerk. I was supposed to send someone a money order when bf got paid. the accident happened on payday. His boss gave me the pay. And I still haven't mailed out the mo.
