e-mailed e-harmony cuz my husband never got his link and this is what i got back. grrr!

Dear Friend ,
Thank you for your note.

Our National Marriage Satisfaction survey has been CLOSED unless you MET YOUR SPOUSE ON EHARMONY. If you met your spouse through the eHarmony service, please email me back with your username and spouses email address and will send you a new link and participation code.

Our survey recruitment included members of the Zoomerang Survey Panel, as well as subjects recruited by Davis Research by phone. Unfortunately, an unauthorized notice of this survey was posted to a notification board on the web, and we have received thousands of respondents whom we have no verification information for.

We are attempting to verify ALL couples who completed our survey, and whenever we can (i.e., whenever the verification responses correspond adequately to the answers originally supplied) we plan to send out gift-certificates to participating couples, whether they were recruited or not.

+ If you and your spouse both COMPLETED the survey, but did not receive

your gift certificates yet, please be sure that you BOTH completed the Verification Questions below. If necessary, click "reply" and enter your answers to the questions below and send them back to us. Replies will be verified by Monday, and notifications and gift certificates will be sent out then.

+ If only you OR your spouse completed the survey, please accept my

apologies that this survey had to be closed before you both had an opportunity to participate.

Thank you for your interest in participation, and best wishes for the success and happiness of YOUR marriage!

Sincerely,

Steve Carter, Ph.D.

Director of Research

I'm glad these survey sites are finally catching on and doing something about all of the abuse by verifying everything. It's not fair to the people who received a legitimate invitation in their email and then can't participate in the survey because it's been posted on a message board for everyone else.
