Lightning struck my daughters high speed DSL and computer despite the surge protector, she got the computer fixed and then found that the DSL was out of commision too, so she called up the folks at her phone compnay that she gets her DSL through and was asking for them to send out a tech when the young man interrupted her and told her that would not be neccesary if she would just go to their website and frequently asked questions. At this time she asked him if he understood that without the DSL connection she could not go online?

That happened to me one time also. I had called my isp provider because I was not able to connect to the internet and they said that instead of calling I could of just logged on to their help web site. Yeah buddy I would of done that if I was able to connect. lmao
