pasta, i made the meat sauce the other day and i'll have a nice tossed salad. since the kids are back at school i think i better make every one a nice dinner. since i finallly have the time.

well this is the first night we have had no where to go in a long while, yesterday we just had some quick ravioli before going to get some groceries and to take hubby's dad some home grown tomatoes.

i have fresh okra from my garden,too bad i don't have a teleporter i'd beam some too you!

i don't know what we will have tonight, i still need to go get more groceries, last night we just went to the close by store to get some essentials, i need to go to the bigger store to stock up. i just looked in my freezer and all i have left is a pack of boneless pork, so something with that. i have noodles and potatoes, i'll have to think on it.

We're having drunken chicken:),grilled corn on the cob,baked spuds,and also some homemade pasta salad.For dessert,I'm thinking about making peach ice cream.I still have some peaches I need to use before they go bad.

well i forgot about the ham i had in the frige so we have to eat that up, i slice it and fry it in brown sugar, it is so delicious. i'll probably make augratin potatoes or mac and cheese with it because hubby loves that brown sugar syrup over something with cheese.

for dessert it's a slim fast candy bar for me and cake for everyone else.

We are going to Coach's for Taco Tuesday. This is a bar and grill here in KC, but they make everything from scratch and their tacos are better than some Mexican places!

I mixed a pack of that with 2 of the salmon freebie packs I got (don't know why I got 2, I only remember signing up for that once) and put in some mayo, chopped onion, chopped celery, and chopped dill pickel and that is the best fish salad I ever made! I put it on Ritz crackers and ate it with some potatoe salad. Even my 8 year old loved it. :)
