for Tim's Birthday... and I have no clue what to get him this year. HELP! Since I am working, I have a "real" paycheck (according to his Mom, mine and him- as if Avon didn't count, but that' neither here nor there...) now, so I can afford to get him something GOOD.

I've run plum out of ideas. So here's a run down of him...

He is going to be 26, loves video games but already went out and bought the NCAA 2004 something or other for PS2, loves Tony Stewart, DW and respects almost everyone else. Loves to sing Karaoke, loves Food... loves pens (as in the kind your write with- seems to be almost a fetish (I'M KIDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). We have a DVD player but I have no idea why because we're either on here or he's playing a PS2 game. Doesn't really care much for CDS, loves to gamble...

Edited to say, he also loves KID ROCK, Eminem but I can't afford tix for them and neither are touring anywhere near here.

Is that enough?

Suggestions please!

Are you anywhere near a casino? How about a weekend away at one, or just a weekend away?

OOOOO oooooooooo can we build on that? See the thing is, my job is a Temp to Hire job and my Birthday is the 17th of Sept. and Tim's is the 24th of Sept. and I already told the manager that I'd like those days off but that's not a guarantee as of yet and I don't know that I'd get back to back days off.

But yes, there is a Harrah's in Cherokee NC and I'm not too far from Lawrenceburg (I think) IN which has the Argacy Casino.

Burn him a cd w/ his fav. music on it. Take him out to his fav. restaurant.
This month is my sweetie's b'day. He received a new outfit, nikes, a very nice dreamcatcher and a sound music. lol :p

Yeah, take a little road trip. Go to the Casino, take him shopping on the way where he can pick out shoes and a C.D. or PS2 game. Go somewhere nice to eat and hit a karaoke bar on the way home :)

You dont need to go out of town for a road trip.....

* Get a room with a jacuzzi at a local nicer motel(Marriotts) and bring the wine, baby oils, and give him a birthday to remember!!!!**

You mentioned a couple of Nascar guys. If you have a Nascar collectible store anywhere near, that's a great place to shop for really cool things from trading cards, t-shirts, jackets, Matchbox cars, knives, plus a bazillion other things. Good luck. I'm sure hubby will like anything you give him:)
