View Full Version : Help me name our cat!!!

We got our cat from the shelter on Wednesday. She scared us that first whole day home because she disappeared. I was sure she got out of the house. Well she had just found a great hiding spot. She is a calico cat with very pretty shades of brown. She is very affectionate. Just a real sweety. We haven't come up with a name for her yet. Any ideas? One of my daughters wants to call her Chino since her colors remind her of Cappacino and my other daughter wants to name her Annabelle. We need something we all agree on. I thought of Reece because her colors remind me of a Reece Cup but the girls don't like that name. I had the link to her picture up but they changed it and now it shows a dog.

How about Twist? His different colors just made me think of the word "twist" for some reason LOL

Pretty .. I like the name Chino too. I also like the name Chloe .. we had a cat named Chloe once.

Well when I click on the link in your post I get a picture of a husky dog? LOL! But from how you describe the cat I bet she is pretty. We have a calico and her name is Jasmine. When we got her my son was totally into the movie Aladdin and he named her after the princess.

What about the name Callie...since she is calico. Chino sounds good too.

Callie is pretty .. I like Ally too (as in alley cat) .. Belle is pretty. Cocoa .. Spice (my daughter has a TY beanie cat named Spice Kitty).

wow, some cute names. I wasn't very creative with mine. My cats are Chelsea and Lucky :)

I was thinking Callie when I read calico cat. I see others thought the same thing.

I thought of Heidi (hidey) being that she was hiding.
We have a Calico name Cleo (short for Cleopatra).
