I can't believe it, the baby is finally coming! I'm so excited! I realize you guys probably have no clue what I'm talkin' about but my goddaughter is on her way... :D And since this is the place where we all come to share our good news... and bad news, I'm telling you all! I'm headed over there right now but wanted to post here first! :D

Well... no baby. She doesn't want to go to the hospital yet, so everyone's going to sleep and I guess just wait and see what happens.

Well.. still no baby! When she called last night, she told the doctor or nurse that she didn't want to go in until she couldn't take it anymore.. which is understandable because I'd much rather be in pain in my own bed then some uncomfy hospital bed, but they told her fine, if she doesn't come in then, she could just call and come to the hospital in the morning. But she didn't. She's already past her due date, on the 8th, she measured 40 weeks. But they said she could just be big so they said the baby should come by 16. So, she's already past her due date and she doesn't want to go to the hospital! Aren't there risk and what not from holding the baby longer than 40 weeks?? I wish she'd go, but she's scared... but when the baby gets here, I'll let you all know. :)

Good luck, I hope that your granddaughter arrives very soon and that labor and delivery isn't too hard on the new mommy.

The baby is here! :D Finally! 8lbs, 3 oz! Her name is Angelina.. but she still has no middle name. She was born about a half hour ago. Just wanted to let you all know... :)

Congrats! BTW they let me go 1 week and 1/2 overdue with my first son (2nd was 6 weeks early). They said no longer than that, but I know of some other people who went 2 weeks overdue.
