mattress extender?

i'm looking for a mattress extender for a twin sized bed . it is for making a bed mattress longer for an extra tall person. i have seen one on advertised on t.v. but not sure where i would buy one. has any on seen or had one of these extenders?

I've heard of them. My hubby's cousin is very tall and had to get one. I will do a search, if I don't find anything I will ask him for you next time I speak to him, probably tomorrow.

I've never heard of them. I'm 6'1" and my DH is 6'4" so we got a king sized bed... that way their was room to stretch out and fit... LOL

julie, looked like a great idea, but the bed has a foot board and the ad on the one you posted states a bed without a footboard. the one i was thinking i thought was foam and not custom made. thanks any way, maybe some one else has seen the one i saw on t.v.

I didnt know they made extenders. I have an extra long twin mattress for my DS. Kind of a pain to find bedding to fit it.
