I decided to clean up the yard so that my grandchildren could have an area for a playhouse. My son stopped by and I put him to work on the project. "When you elect to become a father, you invite all sorts of jobs," I told him as he grumbled good-naturedly. "It's not being a father that makes the work," he retorted. "It's being the son of a grandmother."
