Just a simple question. When making BLT'S in what order do you "build" your sandwich. Which ingredient comes first.

i worked as a grill cook and we put mayo on both pieces of bread than the bottom had the lettuce than the tomato and bacon on top.

Slice of toast
2 slices of American cheese
Hot hot hot bacon to melt the cheese
Salted tomato
Lettuce to keep the tomato from making the bread soggy
Then the other slice of toast
