I took her out to potty earlier, and she slipped on the steps(it rained earlier), and kinda tumbled onto a rock beside the steps. She did her business, came back inside, layed down I didn't notice anything wrong.
A little while ago, I noticed she is favoring her left leg. I thought oh great, my poor clumbsy dog is gonna have to go to the vet, and we have plans to go camping this weekend
I felt her leg, and shoulder, she didn't yelp at all, and nothing felt broke. So I was stumped. I told hubby about it, and he said(why didn't I think of this) "Check the pad of her foot, maybe she got something in it"
Sure enough, poor baby cut one of the pads of her foot(actually kinda took a thin chunk off of it) and that is why she was limping!!!!!
I doctored her up(neosporane and a Scooby bandaid around her toe, to keep her from licking it) and she seems to be some better(medicine has a pain reliever in it, to take the sting out) So looks like we may all load up and go camping still, and her injuries aren't as bad as I thought. :D :D :D :D
