(((((((((big hugs))))))))))))
that school transistion thing can be hard enough without any monkeywrenches in it, even when they are excited about going. give him big hugs for us.
DSL......im getting spoiled. We're fed up with DSL here at work. it's reliable, but we are geting T1 installed soon!!!!! I think I would die if i had to use dialup. more hugs to you....
and about the fish......oh i know about them dying a slow death. people say fish are just dumb animals, but i don't like the thought of anything suffering before its death (which is why i kill roaches FAST lol) But i think it will work out fine.
((((((((((((((((FBH))))))))))))))))))
Sorry about your fish. The mail really messes up. I have been waiting on a pkg that was mailed July 1.

its not cruel. most aquarium fish can live a good 3-4 days without eating. they are opportunistic eaters and it's a natural way of life to them. they are double bagged, with lots of O2 added to keep the movement in shipping aerating the water. then she packs in a styro cooler and snugs the bag in with newspaper. THEN the cooler is packed ina box and shipped.
it's not cruel. how do you think fish arrive at pet stores?

FBH, have you considere dropping in one of those weekend feeders in your shipment bags just in case something like this happens again? it's not the greatest fish food in the world, but is pretty cheap and might help sustain them a little longer in case something like this happens again on a future shipment......or is aeration the main concern when shipping?

never thought about it...with all the tossing the USPS workers do to the boxes I bet the fish have a wild ride. Seems you would have to send live animals in a pen via the airlines wouldn't you, as far as sending chickens anyway.

a game rooster is bred for show and fighting(do NOT flame me for this!).as for shipping--i have special.postal approved wooden shipping boxes custom made.they have an indididual stall for each bird with room to stand, sit, turn around, etc. the biggest shipment i ever made at 1 time was 30 roosters going to calif. that was one noisy post office!!LOL
