Back on July 7th I wrote of my Rite-Aid experience and what happened when trying to use coupons

Well I have an update to the complaint I called corporate about. Today I received a letter telling me to call the store and speak to him (the manager). I just got off the phone with him and he apologied and told me the 4 items I tried to buy using coupons he will give them to me for free when I come down. I will probably go down tommorow and pick them up.

I'm really surprised with the follow-up, he's going to give them all to me for free and he said he yelled at the lady who treated me that way and told her how to treat a customer because he already knew who it was, I guess it's not the first time she's treated somebody like that.

Anyways, just wanted to give an update on the situation. :)

I'm glad they're doing the right thing, but I really hope he didn't "yell" at her. Were you saying that as a figure of speech?

Congrats! :)

You know what, that acutally wasn't a figure of speech, now that I think about it, he actually yelled at her I guess from what he told me. Maybe he meant it like as a figure of speech, but it didn't sound that way.

OMG! I guess I'm shocked because it is kind of strange for an adult to yell at another, but at the same time I giggled. I'm bad, I know. I just thought if she's that rude to people then she deserves it.

if i was the manager I would make the same sales person ring up the merchandise and apologize to you regardless who is behind you. They should learn if it were not for the customer they would not be in business. I'm happy for you it is straightened out, see it pays to roll around on the floor, scream and holler and hold your breath until you are blue in the face, even if your mama told you not to.
Have a good day

Went into Rite-Aid to get the make-up, the manager was really nice and told me to get whatever I wanted, (they were out of the glass shine stuff by loreal) so I ended up getting some maybelline mascara, maybelline roller shadow and 2 maybelline cool effects shadow liner! :) He didn't even ring it up, just bagged it and said if I have any other problems to come to him because hes the "terminator" :p
