This is not really a vent or whine.......I am so freaking happy! I am divorced as of 9am today. I filed 14 days ago & chose to do quick divorce through another county close by. We went to our parenting class Thurs. & I called yesterday to see when my court date was It feels so good to be free. I don't have to worry about making him mad if I do something, what mood he's gonna be in when he gets home, nothing!!!! I am me again! I am Sara....not his wife! He can quit as many jobs as he wants now....he still has to pay child support! He can be mad at the world but he can't take it out on me or my kids anymore!!!!!!! I am so happy! I want a t-shirt that says I'm free! I wanna tell everyone!!!!!!!:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

That has to be the fastest divorce I have ever heard of. My neighbor is going on year 3 of trying to get divorced from his wife.

Thank you to everyone!!! Alot of you have been there for me or at least tried to be & I totally appreciate it! Cowgirlie_in_Tennessee & the other special ones (you all know who you are) who know that because of the situation....I couldn't keep in touch. From the name supamansgirl to supamanswife & now to getogirl/SARA....you all accepted me for me. I want you all to know that the support you did give...no matter how small & the time you spent talking to me....no matter how short a conversation it was...you all really helped! I love you guys! Congrats here in Va. they make you drag it on for at least a year from the date you apply unless the laws have changed. I think it was a law originally set up to protect women but is really one that in the long run just makes the situation worse for everyone concerned.
