Survivor and American Idol are the only "reality" shows that I watch. All the rest are sooooooooo crappy! I guess the "industry" and the people who watch those shows think all the world is "pretty" people. Lets see a "dating, match making" show where the folks are middle aged or older. The women have big butts, sagging boobs and gray hair. The men have pot bellies and are bald! NOW THAT IS REALITY!
I watched the first year of "Big Brother" and loved it. The people the picked were "REAL" people, now it is just a bunch of spoiled, cry baby "pretty" people. They have soooo ruined that show!
IMO...some of the other such as "Temptation Island", "Paradise Hotel" and the such are nothing but legalized prostituion! It's like they say "lets put these people together and pay them to have sex with each other".
Television is really starting to suck!

In our local newspaper today were pictures of people at the local fair and judging how they were dressed. It was refreshing to see these "real" people. And they didn't have to be a size 2 to dress nicely or look stylish.

I can't stomach most of them either, I like The Osbournes and Anna Nicole but her show is one I watch when there is nothing else on, I watched American Idol this last one and Nashville Star because hubby wanted to watch them and I found myself hooked on these but plan on trying to not watch them in the future.

I totally agree with the file sharing thing...they have a new commercial out against it with all these big stars saying how we are taking their jobs and careers away...HELLO, aren't we the ones that helped you get that damn job...a DVD or a CD costs like 5 cents to make...the technology is there and they can't take it away, so maybe the record and movie industries have to get used to not making a 20 dollar profit on a 5 cent item....this is crap...this totally pisses me off...I was also thinking...Sony has a new computer out that burns CDs and DVDs...now why would they put all these wonderful gadgets on computers if they are soooo against them...it makes no sense...give the consumers what they want, but for heaven's sake, make them feel like they are theives as well for using them...

Maybe instead of giving these actors millions of dollars, they could make a million and save the other millions for the blue collar workers...They don't suffer b/c people download, they suffer b/c actors and actresses are spoiled and have all these demands for money and perks. Maybe they should cut the billion dollar salaries of these executives. We are the ones that pay their salaries by going to the movies. There greed hurt themselves. You cannot introduce technology and then take it away. The industry is killing themselves.

Ok, I am ashamed to admit that a guilty pleasure of mine is The Real World, yes it is stupid but I've watched since the beginning! And I do watch the Osbournes. And trading spaces and all of those re-decorating shows. I'm Guilty.


Azriel, I thought I was the only one who watched "Eastenders Omnibus" I LOVE that show! I don't even watch soaps except for that one. And I also like most other shows on BBC, especially Graham Norton. I love that man, LMAO!

I watch the Osbournes because even though they are on camera you get the impression that this is what they are really like. As for the rest of the "reality" shows, people play to the camera and there is alot of deception going on. Ozzie just says what he thinks and his expressions (especially when they changed all of the furniture because of the fleas) was to die for. They are a hoot and a half.

I've been watching the 'big race' I think it's called on CBS. If you have not watched it, it started with eight couples I think, going around the world, each episode the person who gets in last is eliminated. Interesting to see how they fight amongst themselves. Did you watch the opening of the 'restaurant', now that's dumb. Have a good day

oh, and also to add to the radio thing. I HATE listening to the radio... why? Because they hardly play music... they are too busy yapping their traps about this and that, and sometimes really disgusting stuff, like the other day there were 3 announcers on, 2 male and 1 female and they were talking about how bad her period was and talking about using tarps to catch the... I won't go any further, considered I popped in a CD in my vehicle at that point and was was ill from their stupidity of airing such talk to people/kids of all ages...

I watch The Amazing Race...it is one of my favorites. Big Survivor fan here too, but after last season, I just don't know how much longer it will be around, I know I was thoroughly disgusted with it. I definetly think it is getting old. Monster Garage is pretty cool too, if you like that sort of show...not sure if it is classified as a reality show though. Monster House is alright, my kids love to watch it. I HATE all of the who wants to marry a...millionare, my dad, and all those...never have watched any of them, they just look too lame for me.

Oh and I LOVE the Osbournes!! They are a little obnoxious, but they definetly love each other!! Great show :)

I have never heard of Eastenders Omnibus, what channel/when does it come on? I used to stay up late whe nI was younger to watch the Edge of Night, and now I really only watch General Hospital, and Days of our lives, and I also watch Port Charles, One life to live and All My children. But GH, and is the only one i make sure I don't miss.

I have seen the other Trading Spaces, the family one, and I think it's cool that they get the kids involved. Must give them a real good sense of accomplishment to see a whole room they helped create. I love the idea!

Eastenders is on BBC America, I watch it on digital cable. It's on Saturdays for a few hours. So you get a whole block of it at once instead of having to sit there for an hour everyday while they drag it out. I haven't had the chance to see it in a while, so I'm going nuts not knowing what is going on!
