What Color Should My Shorts Be?

Ok This is an odd question I know LOL. I just purchased a halter top sweater like shirt. The color is a real dark blue but not navy. I am trying to figure out what color shorts would go best with it to see if I need to purchase them. Would white-Kahki-Dr. Jean Shorts-Lt. Jean Shorts go? PLMK what you think is best. I was leaning towards the white but they stand out to much against the shirt! I appreciate your help if you can give it.

I think white or tan should be fine to wear with it, sounds cute! I have a dark navy top I wear with white shorts.

or be read daring and wear red shorts, but the white or tan would be fine too, the tan will probally be the less "stand" out choice

I think any jean shorts or the khaki shorts would be fine. I would try the white too, the contrast would probably work really well.

I think khaki works well with those kind of colors. I had the same problem, and it ended up looking great. :D

Khaki because it will show off the top and not overwhelm it. White tends to be too bright for a dark top and a jeans look will take away from the top.

I got them taken care of and wore it the other night when hubby and I went out! He liked the strapless shirt was shocked to actually see me wear one. He thought I looked great and he couldn't stop rubbing the bear part of my back that showed :eek: kept rubbing me and giving me chills all night long..LMAO..we had a good time though and this actually is the first outfit he has ever complimented me on :)
