Can anyone help me? lol

I have a, I think it's called a Zebra plant. It used to have a really pretty yellow flower that sprouted. Now, it's just green striped leaves. My question is...the sucker is almost 2 foot tall, and straggly. If, I were to cut the top off, will that make it die, or make it come in more full? I really don't want to kill it. I'm not good with plants. I only have 5 that I have had for over 2 years, and haven't killed yet lol. Soo, I figured I would ask for help before I did anything.

TIA

Katt...the girlie WITHOUT a green thumb

The plant should also be prune aggressively to promote new growth before repotting. Pruning off the
flower stalk after flowering is done will help promote the production of side shoots. After a few years, you
should propagate the plant because older plants will quickly lose their appeal.

Don't do that Katt or you will have to change the writing under your name to Plant Killer. LMAO
