Garbonzo Beans????????

What the heck does a person use garbonzo beans for. They sound yucky....are they?

Garbanzo Beans are Chick Peas. You can use them in soups, stews, lotsa stuff. Hummus is the best though ;)

I personally love garbonzo beans, they re also called chick peas in some areas. I put them in taco salad. My grandma puts them in her garden type salads. They tend to be a little dry, so you need something with them, like dressing.

I take it that you don't want any garbanzo bean recipes. I think I've had them in minestrone soup.

I do not like garbanzo beans alone...but HUMMUS....MMMMMMMMM.....great with pita bread!

Ive never used them, but a friend of mine- her mother used them in a lot of things, like a salad, or made a sald made of Garbonzo beans, corn and a few other things. personally i think they are blech!
