my sons friend mom came to pick her son up last night drunk  you could smell the liquor comeing from her breath and she was on the bottom step. well needless to say I walked her son home I would not let him get into a car with someone who was drinking I don't care if it was his mom. you don't drink and drive. It took her 30 min to drive 2 stupid blocks  she should not have been behind the wheel. well my son won't be going to her house at all.

glad you were watching out for the little guy. I'll never understand parents that put their children in danger just so they (the parents) can have a good time. I would think the child's safety should come before the parents good time

HUGS TO YOU!!!!! Congrats on standing up for what is right!
Stupid People!! To put your own life in danger is dumb enough let alone put a child in the car.

I am glad you took the time to take that little boy home. I think it is sad that more people do not care like you do.

You should have called the police. She could have hit someone or lost control of the car just going two blocks. She should never have been behind the wheel. Walk her son home but don't let her get away with drinking and driving.

It's not too late to call Child Services. Someone needs to know what is going on in that household.

BTW, you did the right thing! When I was doing child care in my home i had a couple parents come to pick their kids up drunk and there was no way I was letting them put a child in their car.

She may have decided to go back out somewhere after the little boy was brought home. I hope to God she didn't but you never know what people are going to do under the influence. I hope there was someone coherent at the home to take care of the boy because it doesn't sound like his mother was in the right frame of mind. :(
