I have a Paypal account. I have a different checking account & a major credit card just for me to use for Paypal. I've now just received a notice from my bank that this account is "Overdrawn". Not once but THREE times!!!! This is a $29 charge per transaction. I thought that if the funds were not available in the checking account, the credit card was then charged? Does anyone know ??? Did I read the fine print wrong :( ??? Please any help (including the number to call Paypal) would be GREAT! Thanks :(

When you send a payment you have to choose between using the bank account or the cc then if you use your bank account they will attempt to get the funds from it 3 times, if there are no funds in the account the bank will see it as an insf and charge you overdraft fees each time, if it is unable to then they will try the cc.
