Cable has been out for hours!!!

And I am not happy! I just wanted to lay on the sofa and rest! But no! all i see is black! grrrr, cable company won't give anything other than a recording that if you live in the following areas your cable is out, well no duh, that is why i am calling!

That is the reason I finally put in Direct TV and DSL. Our cable kept going out for hours and hours every month. We still had to pay the bill in full as the cable co said it wasnt their fault, it was natures. good luck in getting it back on soon.

You can switch your TV to recieve stuff off your antenna. That way you'll get at least the basic channels.. I gave up on cable completely and just bought a decent antenna. I get 3 shopping channels, cnn, cbs, abc, pax, fox, nbc, WB, religous and spanish channels. Not bad for free. Good luck!

uggh how frustrating it must have been for you, i am glad it is back on! chelle i never had that problem, it has always worked fine for me no matter what kind of weather, but on my filw's it had a black screen for a day
