View Full Version : My Three Year Anniversary

It was three years ago today (7/5/00) the doctor called me to stop by his office after work. Once there he sat me down and told me I had a terminal illness. He and the nurses were all in tears. I just looked at him and said "the disease may get me but not without a fight!" Now three years later I am still alive and kicking. My check up two weeks ago showed no signs of the illness. I realize it can reappear at any time but it just goes to show the power of positive thinking, prayer, good family and friends, and refusing to give up. Not looking for sympathy just want to share some good news for a change. Looks like KATT and Mom2Jal are stuck with me for a loooooooooooooooooooooong time. LMAO:p

Thanks all. Ravenlost that is great.

Unfortunatelly, at my age all my rocking is done sitting in a chair on the front porch sipping iced tea. LOL

Thanks everybody. Yes, I am a fighter and refuse to roll over. Then again it could just be my stubborn streak.;)
