How many people are you feeding? I don't get to have any kind of celebration, really. Sweetie will be working, and one brother's away at camp while the other is spending that night with his mom. Just me and the furkids!

I like the sheet cake that looks like a flag. Not sure if that is at the kraft site, but I've seen it alot at 4th parties. Just a sheet cake, strawberries, blueberries, and white frosting, and you make it look like a flag. Simple and delicious. :)

I usually buy a pint of blueberry's and strawberry a white cake mix, cream cheese frosting and a can of cool whip.
Make the cake according to directions, let cool and put on cream cheese frosting or white(doesnt matter)
slice the strawberrys ... put the blue berries in the upper left hand corner and in between each of them put a little whipped cream "star".. then with the strawberries you slices(top to bottom) make stripes with them. ( I think you can get 4 or 5 to a cake pan).. In between the strawberries put more whipped cream. And refridgerate until ready to serve. Its easy and yummy too!!

I make that cake, but I use cool whip instead of frosting.
